Mr. Shafer recently received a letter from descendants of the original owner of the East Elm Street store, along with a photograph of the proprietor taken sometime in the 1930s. The original tin ceiling that remains today is visible in the decades-old picture.
Shanko, Ok, here it is, I think it came out great for my first installation. My wife and I love the ceiling. Thanks for your help, here is a picture. Enjoy. Jonah and Beth Torreano
It isn't very often in this day and age -- especially in an online setting where one is buying something three dimensional, tactile, and visual -- that you feel like a company cares about you as a person with a special project. These guys were great. They helped my customize a sample order; then we had long conversations about what I wanted my finished tiles to look like; then they actually DID IT!! My kitchen backsplash looks amazing, really amazing, and it was exactly how I'd hoped it would be created. I feel like there could be a little more information on repeats, usable area of each tile, etc etc, and the company would do well to offer matching caulkings! Otherwise, couldn't have been happier.
We used 12" Sante Fe tiles to redo our fireflace surround. We used steel tiles and sprayed them with copper hammered paint. This was an affordable and unique way to update the room. It looks absolutely amazing. (Photo available upon request.)
I purchased tiles from you to put a back splash in my kitchen. I live in a very small space on a train and I think the results are amazing. Thank you, Cindy T
